Tu Phuong Dai Chien is a national semi-professional Arena of Valor tournament held twice a year by Garena. Most elite teams representing 63 provinces will compete to win the championship.
Teams getting to the quarterfinals will have their own logo designed based on the identity of the province they represents. For the Spring 2022 and Winter 2022 seasons, there were 6 new teams (namely Hau Giang, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Ha Noi, Can Tho and Binh Duong) reaching this round, meaning that 6 new logos for each team needed to be added.
Logos were drawn within a same-sized rectangle frame to ensure uniformity and create a professional atmosphere when they stood together during the tournament.
All logos used a sharp, square font that were easy to read even without colors. To express the fighting spirit of esports, I used shield and triangle layouts.
Each team used a distinctive colour group (2 - 3 colours) that would act as their brand colour throughout the tournament.
In many cases, to match the theme of each season, a monochrome logo would be used. Therefore, it was important to maintain the contrast between text and images and minimize strokes to make the logos more responsive.
